Emily joined WSU and the Modernization Team in January 2019 as Change Management Communications Coordinator.
Emily has nearly 15 years of experience in strategic communications in the public and nonprofit sectors. She is certified as a Change Practitioner by Prosci. She has additional expertise in writing and editing, public relations, science journalism, facilitation, and crisis communications.
Emily is ambiverted, ambidextrous, and ambivalent about the Oxford comma, which she knows bothers her fellow grammar nerds. When Emily isn’t at work, you can find her hiking, dancing, allergen-free cooking, and spending time with her rescue dog.
