Cost Determination Guidelines for Principal Investigators

Principal Investigators are responsible for the expenditures charged to their grants. Federal Uniform Guidance and WSU policy (BPPM 40.09) requires that sponsored expenditures comply with four cost principles: reasonableness, allocability, consistency and allowability. This session will help researchers understand how the four cost principles apply to their research, and how to view their grant expenses in Workday for compliance.
