Open Office Hours extended

Workday Open Office hours have been extended through April.

Originally scheduled for March, Workday Open Office hours are open Zoom sessions where Modernization and central unit team members can answer questions, link to resources, and demonstrate Workday processes for WSU community members.

Weekly session topics include Procurement, Budget, General Finance, and Post-Award Grants Management. Two additional sessions cover Time, Leave, Absence, and Payroll.

Spotlight: Workday for mobile devices

University employees and managers can use the Workday Mobile app on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. On the app, users can request time off, view reports, record hours worked, view their Workday inbox, and so on. Which Workday training should every employee take?

All WSU employees will have access to what is called Employee Self-Service functions in Workday. Employee Self-Service tasks include things like updating your address, checking your payslip, and entering time.

New OBIEE report for Workday values

The OBIEE Modernization Crosswalk is a report in OBIEE that will help in the transition to Workday. OBIEE is WSU’s data warehouse.

This OBIEE Crosswalk Report allows users to look at values from our current Chart of Accounts and view their corresponding Foundation Data Model value in Workday. OBIEE is available to all WSU employees with their Network ID and password.
