This month, the Modernization Team released resources including a new blog post about training, a recent video about organizational charts, and a web page for cutover. On the blog, this post discusses actions you can take now that will readily prepare you for training in October.

Workday will allow employees to see their Supervisory Organization – or organizational chart. Organizational charts provide an interactive view of the personnel structure in a work area or department.

The next installment of the 5 Major Changes series is about time, leave, and absence. This new handout details the changes coming to time, leave, and absence when the University transitions to Workday in January 2021:

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) starts the last week of July and runs through early September. The Modernization Team is wrapping up preparing all the materials and scenarios for UAT now.

All WSU units and employees will begin Workday training in October 2020. In the meantime, here are steps you can take to be prepared: 

Workday will replace many of our current systems. Since some processes will still take place outside of Workday, they may require an integration between that system and Workday. An integration is the shift of data between two systems. Integration connects Workday with an external system to ensure consistent information is shared while also automating workflow.
